February PC MVP and Finalists

At Putnam County R-I, we are surrounded by an incredible team of staff members who go above and beyond for our students, staff, and school community. Each month, we take a moment to recognize those who exemplify dedication, positivity, and a commitment to making PCR-I a great place to learn and grow.
We’re excited to announce our February PC MVP and finalists! 🌟

PC MVP: Gracie Parsons

Please join us in celebrating Gracie Parsons, our February 2024 PC MVP!
Gracie serves as a paraprofessional and has quickly become an invaluable part of our district. Her dedication to students, willingness to help others, and positive attitude make a lasting impact every day.
Here’s what her teammates had to say about her:
💙 "I'm very impressed with Ms. Parsons. She brings positive energy every day when she works with her student. She has a heart of gold and truly loves working with students and wants to see them excel. She even tutors some students after school for free because she saw a need. She checks in with teachers to see how the students she tutors performed on tests, showing her deep dedication to their success."
💙 "Gracie has been such a great addition to our district. I love seeing the structure and routine she has created for her student. She is someone you can always count on."
💙 "She shows up every day with a smile on her face, even after experiencing personal setbacks, including the loss of her grandfather. She not only works hard with her student but also helps in the classroom—sorting papers, sharpening pencils, and assisting wherever she can. She truly makes a difference."
Gracie, your hard work, kindness, and dedication to our students and staff do not go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you do! 🏆👏

PC MVP Finalists: Daysha Caley and Michelle Armbruster

We also want to recognize our February PC MVP finalists who make a tremendous impact in our district:

Daysha Caley (Paraprofessional)

Daysha is a fantastic addition to the classroom, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a strong connection with students.
🔹 "She is great with the kids, and they love her! She brings a fun attitude to the classroom every day, joking and talking with students in a way that makes them feel valued and engaged."
🔹 "She helps with so many tasks that make things easier for teachers and students. We are lucky to have her in our classroom and as part of our team."

Michelle Armbruster (Cook)

Michelle is a shining light in the Elementary cafeteria, making sure both students and staff feel welcomed and cared for.
🔹 "Michelle greets so many students every day with a welcoming attitude. She remembers so many names and keeps the kitchen running smoothly!"
🔹 "She and the kitchen team make lunchtime fun for our littlest learners and take great care of the adults, too. They notice when something seems off with a student and reach out. Their attention to detail and willingness to help do not go unnoticed!"

💙 A big round of applause for Gracie, Daysha, and Michelle! Your dedication, kindness, and hard work make Putnam County R-I a better place every day. Thank you for all that you do! #PutnamProud 💙
