Putnam County R-I Superintendent Mrs. Jonnie Beavers presented Mary Clapham of the PC Cafe and Resource Center with $2,880 on October 8, continuing the district’s annual tradition of giving through staff jeans days.
Participating staff members contribute $40 each to wear jeans on Mondays and Fridays, with the funds donated to the PC Cafe and Resource Center. Those individual contributions add up to a generous show of support for an organization that serves our neighbors.
The donation reflects the caring spirit of PCR-I employees, whose commitment to the community extends beyond their work with students. Through this simple tradition, staff members turn an everyday perk into an opportunity to help others.
Thank you to every staff member who contributed and to the PC Cafe and Resource Center for its continued service to Putnam County. We are proud to be part of a community where people look out for one another.
