Our school is excited to invite students in Pre-K through 5th grade to participate in a special Birthday Card Contest celebrating 250 Years of America!
This is a fun opportunity for students to express creativity while reflecting on what makes our country meaningful to them.
πŸ–Œ Contest Ideas:
Students may choose to:

  • Draw American symbols (flags, fireworks, eagles, landmarks)
  • Write a short message or poem about why America is special
  • Create a collage using pictures or craft materials
  • Highlight a favorite place, tradition, or holiday
  • Show what freedom, kindness, or community means to them
πŸ“Œ Important Details:
  • Who: Pre-K through 5th Grade Students
  • Theme: What you love about America
  • Deadline: May 14
  • Prizes: Cash awards for top 2 entries at each grade level
  • Recognition: Winning cards will be displayed at the Unionville Square July 4th Celebration
πŸ“Ž Guidelines:
  • Be creative and original
  • Use any materials (crayons, markers, paint, etc.)
  • Include student name and grade on the back
  • Turn into Mrs. Rebecca Williams or Mrs. Tammy Dooley in the elementary.
