PC Learning Center Staff Named April PC MVPs for 2024–2025
As we wrap up another incredible year of recognizing excellence through our PC MVP Awards, the final spotlight of the 2024–2025 school year was thoughtfully reserved by Superintendent Dr. Heath Halley to honor a group of women who’ve quietly and powerfully transformed the fabric of our school community: the PC Learning Center Staff.
In just a few short months, this team took a shared dream and turned it into a thriving, supportive early learning center for the children of our staff and community. Their work not only filled a growing need—it became a cornerstone of our district’s staff recruitment and retention strategy, strengthening both our culture and our capacity.
On Tuesday, April 29, members of the administrative team made a special visit to the Learning Center, bringing in additional staff to care for the children so the team could be properly celebrated.
Please join us in congratulating our April PC MVPs:
  • Heather DeCoteau
  • Rita Smith
  • Debbie Moss
  • Nellie Shipley
  • Ellie Shipley
These five ladies exemplify the core values of our PC MVP criteria:
  • Impact on School Climate and Culture
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Leadership and Initiative
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Personal and Professional Growth
Their work has made a lasting difference in the lives of our students, staff, and families, and we are incredibly proud of their continued commitment to excellence.
💙 Congratulations to our April PC MVPs! Thank you for leading with heart, vision, and dedication. You truly represent what it means to be #PutnamProud.
