For the third year in a row, our Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl, and this year we’re celebrating in style as they make their way to New Orleans! At Putnam County R-I School District, we know that when students are engaged and staff are excited, the learning environment becomes electric. This year, we’re tying our Super Bowl Spirit Week into our Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) goals, ensuring that fun and learning go hand-in-hand.

Why Spirit Week Matters

When students and staff participate in Spirit Week, it fosters community, creativity, and collaboration—all critical elements of our district’s CSIP plan. By celebrating together, we’re building positive relationships and a stronger sense of belonging, which are key drivers of student success. After all, engaged students are successful students!

Super Bowl LIX Spirit Week Lineup

From February 3-7, 2025, join us for a week of Chiefs pride, fun-filled activities, and Putnam County spirit! Each day is designed to bring out your creativity, celebrate our Chiefs, and strengthen the connections within our school community. Remember, school-appropriate attire is always a must!

🎭 Monday: Big Easy Monday (Feb. 3 - No School for Teacher Development Day)

While students have the day off, our dedicated staff will be busy with professional development. Teachers, it’s a #PutnamProud day! Celebrate by wearing your favorite Kansas City Chiefs, Mardi Gras, or Putnam County apparel. Let’s kick off the week with festive energy! 🎉

🎤 Tuesday: Mahomes Phat Tuesday (Feb. 4)

It’s time to shine! Channel your inner Mahomes or transform into a halftime show performer. Whether you’re a football star or a musical legend, bring your creativity to the classroom. Will you be rocking a jersey, grabbing a microphone, or both? 🎸🏈

🍔 Wednesday: Andy Reid Winning Wednesday & Tailgate Bundlerooski (Feb. 5)

Tailgate vibes, anyone? Dress like Coach Reid, a State Farm Agent, or your favorite tailgate fan. BBQ aprons, flannels, jerseys, and all things tailgating are encouraged. Let’s celebrate the winning spirit of the Chiefs and their legendary coach! 🔥🍗

💑 Thursday: Taylor & Travis Thursday (Feb. 6) Dynamic duos take the stage! Dress up as Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce, Patrick & Britney Mahomes, Andy & Tammy Reid, or any iconic Super Bowl pair. Let’s highlight teamwork, friendship, and love as we cheer for our Chiefs! 💕🏆 ❤️💛 Friday: Fired Up Friday (Feb. 7) Wrap up the week with an explosion of Chiefs pride! Wear your red and gold, favorite Chiefs apparel, or flashback Friday looks.
